Hi Everyone,
I have taken the angels’ teaching to heart after hearing them talk about these topics for decades. And sometimes I pinch myself to see if I’m real when I don’t react as I once did. Over the last month a best friend and one of my dearest family members ended up in the ER once again, close to the line where life and death meet in our eternal dance. I’m not exaggerating. Doctors told them as much. And yet, they’re still alive. Their willingness carried them through.
Rather than worry, I turned immediately to raising my vibration so I could be of assistance. I wanted so dearly to be part of the solution. In my past, I would have become a puddle of fears and tears after springing into action, but this time I worked in the realms where I am most effective and felt only a sense of the universe’s immense support for us all. Choosing to focus on the love changed everything.
Last week, along with the rest of the world, I witnessed horrific events. When we start to see human beings gunned down on public videos, it is easy to feel the world has gone mad. I had a moment of pure sickness, followed by a wave of sadness so profound I could easily have drowned in it. But years of working with angels reminded me. “Tend to your vibration, Ann. Be a light.” I wasn’t in denial of my feelings. I felt them. What I saw was sad beyond sad, but when faced with a choice of drowning in a disheartening sorrow or succumbing to the vibrations of fear and rage that cause such vile acts, I chose otherwise.
I chose to focus on the tidal waves of love arising from the unthinkable. I chose to focus on the people speaking of love—people from all persuasions, politics, and beliefs, gathering to share profound moments of humanity. I watched so many people tired of the divisiveness that has wrenched so many so far from their human hearts, stand together in silence—praying for peace and kindness.
Out of the ashes of pain and violence, the eternal Phoenix of love arose once again. Strangers held hands. People prayed together. There was a collective cry for a return to our true nature.
A few days later, I saw a press photo of people on both sides of this equation. What struck my heart in this particular photo, in a way I will never forget, is the anger layered over the terror in the eyes of all involved. If ever I witnessed the dance of vibrational compatibility, it was in that moment.
I saw the same vibration in people so polarized and so different that they would likely have nothing to do with each other had they not met on the playing field of 5D, each pushing against one another, each afraid of the consequences of the others’ choices, and each enraged that the other had triggered their own disconnection.
I prayed for them all. I prayed that the light of love rise up in all human hearts. And I resolved to keep my own vibration as high and loving as possible so as to contribute only to that frequency on earth.
The day the world withdraws the fuel of its focus from the fires of hatred, it can no longer burn.
The day the world its focus from the fear of our differences, they will be seen as our shared human assets.
The day the world shifts its focus from what is sickening and damaged in human hearts and strives instead to fan the flames of goodness and love, we will begin the process of transforming human hearts rather than striving to beat them into submission.
The day we focus on what is good, beautiful, and true within ourselves is the day we step into the fullness of our alignment with the creative forces in the universe and become a powerful influence for good.
And so after witnessing things I never thought I’d see in this lifetime, I sat quietly with the Divine and the angels. I walked out in the yard and watched eternal life in the form of ripening tomatoes and tenacious herbs. I inhaled the perfume of the lemon tree and thought about the love that it shares with so many people. I thought about the many souls who were praying, resolving to be kinder and more loving, and in that instant, I felt the turning of the tides. I felt the world in its awkward awakening to greater light. And I felt the heavens pouring their love onto our planet into all hearts willing to receive.
It isn’t easy turning our thoughts to the good when the bad is paraded in front of us in such blatant ways. But the world needs our love. The world needs our joy. We do deserve to feel good. And the more each of us as individuals opens to the ever-present love that flows through creation, the more we have to share.
Here are a few ways you can shift your focus to feel good even after witnessing pain and suffering in your personal life or in the world.
1. Remind yourself, “When I feel Good, I feel God. When I feel God, I share Good.”
Anytime we focus on what feels truly good and aligned with love, we are feeling the One Love that sources us and all of creation. In the smallest moment of appreciation, we are aligning with our true, essential nature. That nature is generous, kind, loving, and sharing.
When you sit, breathe, and receive and allow the love of the heavens to pour through you and lift you, you naturally wish for others to feel this peace.
When you spend time in nature and allow her majesty to nurture your spirit, you return to your day-to-day life calmer as a vibrational tuning fork of peace and stability for those around.
When you look into the unconditionally loving eyes of your dog or feel the healing vibration of your cat’s purr, the fight-or-flight response in your body calms, and you begin to emanate kinder vibrations into a world where many need that peace.
Choosing to focus on what feels like love not only makes you feel good but helps you serve as an instrument of love in a world that needs our joy, our kindness, and our faith in love’s eternal flame.
2. Feel all your feelings, then tell yourself, “I deserve to feel good.”
When I don’t feel good, I don’t pretend I do. I “feel all the feels” as the younger and wiser generations often say, and then I remind myself, “I deserve to feel good. I will be a light.” And immediately, I look for something or someone to love and appreciate.
Then, fueled by love and appreciation, imagine your light amplifying and, emanating like rays of sun shining from your heart.
As the angels sometimes like to say, “You can be a light on legs!”
3. Look for the true good.
Don’t waste your time trying to feel good about what is bad. Turn to what actually feels good, and let it be a tuning fork that helps you return to the vibration of love. Even after seeing horrific things, the smallest good can bring you back “home.”
For me, so many simple things remind me of the loving universe—the taste of an orange, the scent of a lemon, generous creators on youtube sharing their cooking skills, the grass under my feet, the rock on my desk that was birthed aeons ago in a volcano and sits there now as my grounding stone, the beautiful souls in my life and the loving animals whose paths I’ve crossed, the good books birthed from human hearts, the inspiring music channeled by gifted creators… I could go on and on. There is so much good if we look for it.
And while what is not so good is often obvious, glaringly large, and impossible to ignore, we can “turn the other cheek” away from the hatred, anger, and fear, pray, and get back to empowering all that is good.
Choosing to empower the good, and to feel good is not burying our heads in the sand, but rather lifting our faces to the light.
It is acknowledging our difficult feelings and returning to love.
It is saying to the darkness, hatred, violence, and fear, “I will not join you. I will not allow you to dim my light. I will live in love, see love, and be love. I am the love I wish to see in the world.” And indeed we are.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Ann
