It is 3:30 am again. I don’t think I’ve been to bed before 4am for the last few months or so, all for a variety of reasons. Some are purely creative. I get going on a project and notice how late (or early) it is when the sun comes up or my body says, “Bed! Now!” Some nights I’ve been up working late, making up for technical challenges or interruptions during the day, such as sprinkler leaks. Tonight I’m up because it felt really fun to experiment with a clipart set of “aussie” gnomes requested by a dear soul in Australia, and then I plan to prepare for an upcoming interview. I’m enjoying earth and heaven all in one evening, and it is all a lot of fun.
If I keep my focus in the present moment on what I love, I am not tired. What tires me is negative thinking… sometimes feeling bad that I can’t do more to soothe the hurting hearts or help the ones I love who are dealing with massive physical challenges. Sometimes I feel disgruntled with apps that don’t work as advertised. Sometimes I feel frustrated that I am not achieving my goals as fast as I’d like. I catch myself and change these attitudes most days, but sometimes love looks like a blanket, a ten-minute timer, and a few moments of rebooting the mind. I awaken after these brief sojourns refreshed and ready to go.
Even in readings the past few years, I’ve become far more aware of when I am tuned into love vs. when I am not. I can be in the middle of a session with a dear client, feeling energized and upbeat, and then we tune into an ex or someone in a lower vibe, and suddenly I’m yawning. I refocus on love, and then I shift. It has been so interesting to watch these ebbs and flows as I continue to refine my abilty to stay in love and retune to the vibration of love when I fall temporarily out of it.
It is a joy to know how to “fall in love” or, more accurately, “attune to love” organically, from within, rather than waiting for life, people, or the world to make it easy. It is remarkable to think of ourselves as tuners who can tune into the frequency of love that, at least in my life, was once only inspired by someone of the opposite gender admiring me! Right now I feel warmth, joy, and a profound sense of gratitude and connection with all of you.
Love is easy to give in small ways when we take time to tune into it in small ways. Soon, I will be experiencing it as a soft blanket and the cool hum of the a/c as I shut my eyes and visit heaven for a few hours before waking up. Right now, I experience it as the angels’ willingness to share a newsletter before I go to bed. And the joy of warm socks and chamomile tea during the quiet hours is so beautiful.
I know there is a lot of crazy going on in the world. One of my clients taught me a new phrase, “Cray-Cray,” meaning really crazy! Things do feel a little cray-cray to say the least! But then again, there is more love than ever before as one by one people get tired of the anger and drop into their soul’s desire fort peace. My motto lately is simple: “Love ’em All.” We don’t have to like everyone, of course, but love is just a willingness to witness and call for the light within. I pray for the upliftment of all. It feels good. I’ve even been working to actively love and appreciate the computer programs that have been driving me nuts as I continue to learn more complex ways to use them 🙂
It isn’t hard to share love in the tiniest of ways. As the angels say, we will never fully appreciate the ripple effect of our lives until we see it from the other side. Near-death survivors have often commented on the smallest of things, acts they thought insignificant, that they saw rippled outwards in waves of goodness still in effect today. One word, one prayer, one small act of joy or kindness can affect people you will never meet.
So when you don’t know what to do for the world, just “be” – “Be” the lover that you are, and love something, anything to get that energy flowing, then imagine you can allow it to flow through you out into the world to where it is needed.
Here are a few pointers to help you aim more love at the world….
1. Be an open valve for love
The more we open to receive love, the more we have to give. Bruno Groening, a healer mid-century, urged people to sit in the healing stream. I learned about him long after the angels started preaching, “Sit. Breathe. Receive.” It is the same message. Sit in reception of love. Breathe. Imagine the healing stream flowing over you, into, and out from you. Think of any positive intention you have for yourself or someone else, and let the energy do the rest.
Although everyone has access to this energy, not everyone will pause to receive it for themselves. Your positive intentions can assist in much the same fashion as opening the faucet, pouring water into a glass, and giving it to someone thirsty. While this analogy has its limitations since we are “receiving” and “broadcasting” love more like a radio than “receiving and sharing” it in the physical sense, the idea is the same:
The more we “receive,” the more we have to share.
2. Send someone a positive telepathic message
If someone you know, or don’t know, is hurting, send them positive telepathic messages. Keep it short, and repeat often. “You’ve got this.” “You are perfect.” “You will heal.” “Your life has value.” “I love you. I love you. I love you.”
Or my favorite, “I love you and I want you to know God’s love for you.”
You will create a vibrational broadcast that will reach the receiver as kind thoughts if they are at all willing to attune to some help.
Sometimes people who won’t listen to verbal love will receive it energetically simply because they want help.
3. Focus on one person, thing, or situation with love and appreciation.
You can’t help but radiate pure love and sunshine on anything or anyone you appreciation. Maybe a coworker drives you nuts. Can you find one thing to appreciate about them? Focusing on it will inspire them to show you more of that side of themselves. When you appreciate an animal, they want to sit i your radiant loving energy. When you appreciate a plant, it gives you more flowers of fruits.
Anything you shine the light of love upon, who is willing to receive, will benefit from it and often share more with you.
It isn’t too hard to let love flow through us, and it creates so much vibrancy and aliveness in your own life. I hope you all can feel it as I flow it to each of you with this newsletter.
May you know how deeply you are loved and cherished by the Divine.
